About Me

As an MA candidate in Museum Education at the Rhode Island School of Design, I am interested in what and how we learn in museums. My research focus has been on teaching through objects and the roll that art can play in the core subject classrooms. I am fascinated by the role that context plays in our perceptions and interpretations of objects and the stories that objects have to tell us. Continuing the work that I have done at RISD, this blog serves as a place where I can share my thoughts and participate in a conversation about contemporary practices in museums.
